Our processHow We Review
How we prepare our guides, what we look at in apps, how we check legal information and how we correct mistakes.
Our process
- 1
Research the topic
We start with how the app, game or law works and what readers need to know.
- 2
Test and review
We test and review apps as per industry standards.
- 3
Check the legal position
We compare legal details against published sources.
- 4
Publish and update
We add key dates and update pages as the position changes.
What we look at in apps
| Area | What we consider |
|---|---|
| Licensing and security | Licence claims, encryption and identity checks |
| Payments | Payment methods and INR support |
| Withdrawals | How long withdrawals take |
| App performance | Load time, stability and ease of use |
| Bonus terms | Bonus size and wagering requirements |
| Customer support | Live chat and Hindi-language support |
| Responsible gaming tools | Deposit limits, self-exclusion and reality checks |
A review or rating is not a recommendation to use an app, and it doesn’t mean the app is legal in India. A foreign licence doesn’t authorise a service to offer money games to people in India.
How we check legal information
We check legal information against published sources, such as government notices, agency press releases and reporting on court cases. Many of our legal pages show when they were last checked.
Follow the PROGA tracker for the latest dates.
What we say about operators
Our “Is X legal in India?” pages separate what an agency has alleged from what a court has decided. If we can’t find a public action that names an operator, we say that, and we explain that it doesn’t make the operator legal.

Corrections
If you spot a mistake, email info@gamblingapps.in with the page address and what needs changing. Because the law is changing, please check the date on any page and don’t rely on it as legal advice.
